We're watching something similar happen with agents. The way people find businesses, ask questions, and buy is moving from static pages into conversations. 800 million people are already discovering brands through agent search. How those conversations work, what shows up, and who gets chosen is being decided right now.

The Team

Our Forward Deployed Engineering team works directly with major enterprise partners. Chat agents, voice agents, MCP servers, site modernization, all deployed into live customer journeys. You'll embed with their teams, write in their codebases, and ship to their customers. Every interaction has to feel intelligent, and it has to happen within .11 seconds. The team is small and the bar is high. Founded by an ex-Google team, and we hire accordingly.

What Your First Year Looks Like

  • Deploy our voice agent into an insurance carrier's customer journey: their CDP, their analytics stack, their compliance requirements. It goes live. It converts.
  • Build the backend-for-frontend for a Fortune 500 retailer going headless, then ship an agentic shopping storefront to millions of customers.
  • Architect an MCP server that gives external AI agents real-time access to a client's product catalog, pricing, and inventory. A new front door to their business.

What the Day-to-Day Feels Like

  • Learn how a client's world works and figure out where our platform fits — every client is a different stack, org chart, and set of constraints
  • Debug production issues during rollouts and present architecture to VPs of Engineering
  • Write the reusable templates and deployment patterns that cut the next engagement in half
  • Own the technical relationship — client feedback goes straight to the core engineering team as real product input
  • Fix what breaks during a launch and document what works so every FDE benefits

About You

  • You've shipped production software and you're strong across the stack: frontend, backend, infrastructure
  • You've integrated with enterprise systems before: CRMs, CDPs, data warehouses, APIs, SSO/SAML
  • You're the engineer other engineers come to when something is ambiguous and needs to get done
  • You can walk into a room of non-technical executives and earn trust — and a room of senior engineers and earn respect
  • You're willing to travel up to 50% to client sites — this role is hybrid out of Miami

Even Better If You Have

  • A track record in client-facing engineering: professional services, solutions engineering, or consulting
  • Deep experience in financial services, insurance, or healthcare IT
  • Hands-on work with AI/ML APIs, conversational AI, or voice agent systems
  • Real exposure to headless commerce, MCP, or agentic architecture patterns
