The Team

Federal and state agencies are modernizing how citizens find and access government services. You'll own the full sales cycle for government accounts — agencies that need their websites to work for AI agents the same way they work for browsers. Every interaction has to feel intelligent, and it has to happen within .11 seconds. The team is small and the bar is high. Founded by an ex-Google team, and we hire accordingly.

What Your First Year Looks Like

  • Map the federal territory strategy — identify the top 50 target agencies across civilian and defense that need agentic web readiness
  • Navigate your first government procurement cycle end-to-end — RFI, technical evaluation, security review, ATO — and close it
  • Close Point11's first government deal and use it as a reference to accelerate pipeline across the public sector

What the Day-to-Day Feels Like

  • Own the full sales cycle for government accounts — discovery through procurement through close
  • Build territory strategy and pipeline through outbound, industry events, and partner channels
  • Lead executive presentations and ROI workshops for agency CIOs, CTOs, and digital leadership
  • Collaborate with solutions architecture and FDE teams to scope technical requirements and build business cases
  • Manage complex government procurement processes including security reviews, FedRAMP considerations, and vendor assessments

About You

  • You've sold enterprise software into government and you understand how public sector procurement works
  • You've navigated multi-stakeholder buying committees and long sales cycles in regulated environments
  • You can present to agency leadership with confidence and negotiate with contracting officers without losing margin
  • You're disciplined with CRM and take a data-driven approach to pipeline management
  • You're based in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC — this role is hybrid

Even Better If You Have

  • Strong understanding of AI, digital modernization, or enterprise technology platforms
  • Existing relationships with federal or state agency decision-makers
  • Experience with FedRAMP, ATO, or government compliance frameworks
  • A track record of closing $100K+ deals in the public sector
